Happy Birthday, Jillian!
My youngest child turns 19 today. We love to make a huge deal of birthdays around here. The birthday honoree is queen (or king) for the day, which includes getting to choose all the menus for the day. For weeks and weeks before the big day, potential menu options are discussed and "tried on." Jill anticipated having Chipotle Salmon with Guacamole for at least a month, but the day of the deadline (yes, the cook must have time to plan and shop), she made a different choice. Friends were invited to help celebrate and the menu became:
