For the Mom Who Has Everything
For the last couple of summers, I have been a birthday present. No, I haven't jumped out of a cake, sporting a big red ribbon around my neck. Instead, a family of grown children gave their mother a series of luncheons prepared by me. It was really an inspired idea, especially for the parent who has long had everything, and from the children who have long run out of interesting ideas. I arrive at her house at about the time she and her friends are sitting down to play bridge. An hour and a half later, I'm serving a lovely luncheon and they are being spoiled. Here is this weeks' menu:
Salmon Salade Nicoise
Chive Pepper Popovers
Warm Lemon Souffles
